Cleaned and measured sewer in preparation for lining lining from 4” pvc stack in basement to just short of 6” clay wye. 7-3-24 Inserted a 4” liner through the existing inside clean-out extending approximately 20 feet to just before the connection to the clay tile tee coming from the laundry tub.
Did a video inspection of the sewer from an outside clay clean out in front yard near side walk 4’ deep went 52’ upstream to catch basin in back patio minor root in 6” clay about 15’ from clean out and minor corrosion in 4” cast iron. 32’ downstream to city main line was clear.
Televised sewer from inside clean out on stack. Clay looks to be in good condition. Cast has a crack in the top of the pipe that runs approximately 4-5 ft in length. Suggest installing a liner through the cast after descaling to reinforce the cracked cast.
Inspected ducts beneath slab floor via television. Identified metal ducts in one area and cardboard ducts in another. Proposing spray lining solution. It may be required to open holes in two specified locations for access. Customer is good with the proposed action and we will be starting project tomorrow.
Cleaned all underground duct work. Applied first application of duct armor to all underground duct work.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized metal and showing only slight signs of rust as is the plenum under the furnace. Suggest spray lining ducts with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Video inspection of underground air ducts. Ducts are galvanized metal. They are showing some signs of rust. Suggest spray lining ducts with Duct Armor Duct lining material to rehabilitate ducts and seal off connections.
Video inspection of sewer line from inside clean out in basement floor. Sewer is 60 ft to city main. The city main looks like it is starting to collapse. There is a break in the pipe about 4ft off the curb with heavy roots throughout. Sewer should be lined to repair.
