Mr. Stewart and his Son were very Kind, Professional, and Knowledgeable. He explained the situation within the drain line, using the video camera, to me in simplified/non technical terms that I appreciated. He also provided his verbal recommendation based on the assessment and his expertise. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Stewart and his son was not trying to immediately bust up my patio as other companies wanted to do just to diagnose the issue at a ridiculous cost. We had a drain pipe that was blocked with tar (thanks to incompetent roofers); the best idea a local Chicago plumbing company could come up with was to tear up our entire basement floor for a hefty price tag. I am so glad I found Trenchless Innovations: they patiently worked through 4 feet(!) of tar and cleared the pipe; all the while they were focussed but also friendly and even patiently answered the questions of my four year old daughter; on top of that they saved me tons of money and helped me avoid a destroyed basement floor. I cannot recommend them enough!

This work was done in a hospital which we have to meet very high standards of cleanliness as well of Infectious Control requirements. Trenchless Innovations repaired a 50+ year old clay sewer pipe under our condo building in Lincoln Park. We had been experiencing multiple issues (e.g. odor, leakage) that other repair services failed to resolve. Because Trenchless Innovations specializes in this service, they bid the job at ~33% less than other general sewer repair companies and achieved flawless results. Couldn't be happier!

I'm thrilled with the job these people did. They were very responsive, helpful, trustworthy and affordable. The previous sewer company I hired charged a lot more to rod my line. Then they told me they couldn't complete the job b/c I needed $,5000 worth of work done, which they handed me an estimate for. 10-18-2024: cleaned and measured sewer in preparation for lining from 6” clean out in front yard (7’5” deep) 78’ upstream to near catch basin x5 reinstates, 48’ downstream to city main, also line 15’ downstream from floor clean out in basement closet (2’4” deep)to main line. 10-21-2024 Inserted a 6” liner through the existing outside clean-out extending upstream approximately 78 feet to just before the catch basin. Reinstated five connections. Inserted a 6” liner through the existing outside clean-out extending downstream approximately 49 feet to just before the connection to the city main. 10-30-2024 Installed 2 6” patch liners. 1. 5’ patch covering cleanout. Reinstated cleanout. 2. 10’ patch from floor cleanout in closet ending in toilet branch line just before main line. 12-2-24: installed patch liner at catch basin 5’x6” also patch liner at new clean out in basement 5’x6” up to patch liner from previous work
Televised sewer from flood control in basement to city main to identify cracks and possible rocks in line. Will provide proposal for lining approximately 15ft. Used pan and tilt camera to see area where city made a repair on a gate valve that used to be located in sidewalk.
11-19-2024: measured sewer in preparation for lining from 6” pvc clean out in back of building near catch basin 112’ to city main. Need to jet loose stone back to catch basin prior to lining. Based on what tenants are saying and also Louis owner of the building it sounds like it could be leaking Jolsen heads for the roof drains, but they are buried under large paver bricks. suggest uncovering jolsen heads then doing a test to see if they hold water, or if the water leaks out.

Completed a sewer lining job for a client in Chicago, IL, using trenchless technology to rehabilitate the damaged sewer line without the need for excavation. A resin-coated liner was inserted into the existing pipe, creating a new, durable pipe within. This process sealed any cracks, prevented future root intrusion, and smoothed out the interior of the old pipe to improve flow. The project covered approximately 100 feet of sewer line, ensuring long-term reliability and preventing future issues. The job was completed with minimal disruption to the property.
Pulled toilet in basement, rodded sewer with 3” head only, 75 ft with c-11cables. Televised sewer with little camera found roots from 5ft to 20 ft out. Line goes to 6” clay tile pipe. May need a plumber to cut access in 4” cast iron stack so a 4” cutter head could be used.
