Our church had a plumbing contractor tell us we needed to line our entire sewer line for about 25k. Trenchless Innovations came out to give us a second inspection and opinion. Per the inspection John did not recommend a lining. John and Kevin took the time to look through our old church and give some thought on our basement water issues and some possible remedies. Great service, reasonable fee for camera inspection and experience make the church feel confident in the findings, hopefully saving us some headache and money as we .go forward.

Mr. Stewart and his Son were very Kind, Professional, and Knowledgeable. He explained the situation within the drain line, using the video camera, to me in simplified/non technical terms that I appreciated. He also provided his verbal recommendation based on the assessment and his expertise. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Stewart and his son was not trying to immediately bust up my patio as other companies wanted to do just to diagnose the issue at a ridiculous cost. We had a drain pipe that was blocked with tar (thanks to incompetent roofers); the best idea a local Chicago plumbing company could come up with was to tear up our entire basement floor for a hefty price tag. I am so glad I found Trenchless Innovations: they patiently worked through 4 feet(!) of tar and cleared the pipe; all the while they were focussed but also friendly and even patiently answered the questions of my four year old daughter; on top of that they saved me tons of money and helped me avoid a destroyed basement floor. I cannot recommend them enough!

Televised sewer from catch basin in lower level of building approximately 60ft to city main. There as sand in the first section before it connected to the main on a tee. After that the line looked clean with only one section with roots and one section that had slight crack. Will provide proposal for installing liner in first section before tee connection.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized plastic coated ducts that are rusted due to ground water. If ground water is resolved then the ducts can be spin cast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Walked through to look for door and equipment access for upcoming lining project.
8-8-2025: Cleaned and measured downspout/kitchen line from downspout to catch basin. Need to use maxi miller to remove remaining roofing tar out of 6” clay the day of lining. We will cut 6” cast downspout down 1’ from top to install liner and reinstall cut piece with non-shear mission coupling. Liner will start at downspout and end just before tee near basin, x2 reinstates upstairs kitchen also basement kitchen. 8-20-25 Inserted a 6” liner through the existing downspout connection on the side of the house extending approximately 40 feet downstream to just before main run leading to the catch basin on the other side of the house. Reinstated two kitchen connections with robotic cutter.
Could not televise line from clean out to catch basin because line was backed up and holding water. School needs to clear line then we can come back to televise.
Tvd and measured sewer in preparation for lining from 8” check/ clean out downstream to city main, also upstream 10’ ending past 2nd tie in x2 reinstates. ****NEED STREET PARKING IN FRONT**** 8-11-25 Lined 6” sewer line upstream from outside cleanout approximately 10’. Reinstated two connections. Lined 6” sewer line downstream from outside cleanout approximately 40’ ending prior to city main.
Televised sewer but it was backed up when er arrived. Rodded approximately 105 ft and felt cable go through a rough arena at that location. Retelevised and sewer was now open. Area in street that was located is shifted down approximately 4”. Gave copy of recording to inspector for city to repair.
Televised sewer from manhole to city main about 35’ of 6” clay, get price to line from manhole to city main
Televised area in master bedroom where there was moisture suspected. Ducts are galvanized ducts and are insulated on outside. There did not appear to be any moisture in the areas of concern.
7-28-2025: descaled and hydro jetted 300’ of 4” cast kitchen line from clean out in green stairwell to basin about 70’, from floor clean out in hallway near elevator to clean out in green stairwell about 120’, also from starter clean out near rear entrance door to clean out near elevator about 120’. Took measurements for lining. 7-29-2025: lined sewer from 4” floor clean out in green stairwell to patch liner near catch basin 70’ downstream and reinstated x2 tie ins. Lined sewer from 4” floor clean out near elevator 120’ downstream overlapping liner from clean out in green stairwell and reinstated x6 tie ins. 7-30-2025: lined sewer from starter clean out near rear entrance door 120’ downstream overlapping liner from clean out near elevator and reinstated x10 tie ins. Installed patch liner from catch basin 5’ to overlapping liner from green stairwell to catch basin.
Televised sewer from clean out on east side of house. Located a break in front of the house that is near the bushes. Will provide a proposal for digging to make a repair then lining afterwards.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are pvc with metal fittings where water and debris are entering the pipe. Grading needs to be done in front of unit and downspouts repaired. Will provide proposal for spin casting and spray lining system.
Televised hot tum drain line to see if lining is possible. Will provide proposal for installing 4 liners through access in hot tub.
