GC email jim@shardonbuilders.com. Provide estimate for spray lining approximately 15 ft of pipe from furnace area where the pipe was replaced after plumbers had replaced it because of damaging it when opening the floor.
9-6-2024: cleaned and measured sewer in preparation for lining. 9-13-2024 -Inserted a 6” liner through the existing outside clean-out extending downstream approximately 24 feet to just before the city main. -Inserted a 6” liner through the existing outside clean out extending upstream approximately 86ft near the house. -Re-instated 4 lateral connections tying into the line from the house by way of an internal robotic cutter.
Televised sewer from inside clean out but could only get about 60ft out due to heavy roots. Suggest lining sewer from a new clean out that will be installed in basement approximately 75ft to city main. Will provide proposal.
Televised sewer from catch basin in front of garage. Sewer back to trough drain is cracked. Sewer to main has heavy roots. Provide quote to line both lines.
Applied second application of duct armor to all underground ductwork and furnace box.
Today I performed ductwork restoration services at a residence in Highland Park, Illinois. The scope of work involved applying the initial coat of Duct Armor sealant to all underground duct runs as well as the interior of the furnace box itself. Duct Armor is a specialized elastomeric coating that seals and encapsulates duct surfaces to prevent moisture intrusion, inhibit mold growth, and improve airflow efficiency. Properly sealing and insulating ductwork is an important part of maintaining healthy indoor air quality and optimizing HVAC system performance. After allowing the first application to cure, a secondary coat will be applied to complete this duct rehabilitation project.
Applied trenchless spincast mortar to all underground ductwork and furnace box. Repaired and rebuilt furnace box and all register vents with hydraulic cement.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized and showing some signs of rust. The plenum is very rusted. Suggest spin cast mortaring and spray lining with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Televised ducts under slab portion of the house. Ducts are galvanized metal and are very rusted. Suggest spin cast mortaring the spray lining with Duct Armor duct lining material in order to restore ducts. Due to the size of the registers two locations will need to be opened up in order to allow mortar equipment to access the ducts.
Televised ducts under slab floor on lower level of house. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings. Suggest spin cast mortaring the metal connections then spray lining the concrete ducts with Duct Armor material to encapsulate the concrete pipes.
Duct lining application service call. Applied first coat of Duct Armor to all registers and duct runs.
Sewer inspection service call. Televised sewer from inside clean out. Could only push approximately 104ft due to configuration of clean out and the turns it made. Clay tile up to that point looks to be in good condition. Sewer repair recommended. Suggest installation of and outside clean out then re-televise for possible lining. Recommend Bills Plumbing for installation of clean out.
Televised and cleaned all underground ductwork. Coated all underground ductwork with duct armor and transite pipe in basement.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are mostly clay tile with the exception of one run that is metal. The one metal run is extremely rusted and deteriorated. The clay tile has debris at the joints. Suggest spin cast mortaring the system then spray lining with Duct Armor duct lining material. Customer has just recently installed drain tile around entire house to control any water issues.
We are applying the second application of our rubberized Duct Armor material to all of the underground asbestos transite air ducts. The air in the home will be environmentally safe to breathe.
