Completed trenchless sewer line repair in Joliet today! Customer had multiple backups and slow drains throughout house. Our previous camera inspection showed cracked clay pipe with major root intrusion at several joints. Used our cured-in-place pipe lining system to completely rehabilitate the line without digging up their beautiful landscaping. Process went super smooth - we accessed from the existing cleanout, did thorough cleaning with our hydro-jetter first to remove all roots and debris, then installed 65 feet of liner from house to city connection. Used our special epoxy resin rated for 100+ year lifespan and cured it with our UV light system in about 4 hours. Final camera inspection shows perfect installation with smooth surface throughout. Water flow is now 100% with no leaks. Best part - customer saved around $8,000 compared to traditional dig-up replacement! They were amazed we did the whole job with just a small access point and no damage to their property.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete ducts with metal couplings. The plenum under the furnace is rusted out on the bottom with stone entering the plenum. The metal joints on the ducts are not rusted but show slight signs of debris entering the pipe at that location. Suggest spray lining with Duct Armor duct lining material to seal system. Blower motor assembly needs to be removed in order to rebuild plenum.
Rodded floor drain to re-open floor drain after lining.
Installed a new trenchless sewer line with a pipe bursting technique. First, used a small excavation point to insert the new pipe. The existing pipe was burst and replaced without extensive digging. Ensured all connections were secure and tested the system for leaks.
Installed a 5’ 4x6” patch at the 4-6” connection near manhole. Lined 4” cast iron sewer upstream from open pipe approximately 20’ ending in patch. Reinstated the two connections (cross). Lined 4” cast iron sewer downstream from pulled toilet in men’s bathroom approximately 10’ ending in newly installed cast. Reinstated three connections on that line.
Descaled and jetted 4" cast iron sewer line from an open hole in women's bathroom downstream to manhole and from the open hole in women's bathroom to next door men's bathroom in preparation for lining.
Resolved a slab leak issue via trenchless pipe relining techniques. Cut an access point through the concrete to expose the compromised copper line. Inserted a structural liner impregnated with epoxy resin, which formed a new seamless pipe within the existing damaged pipe upon curing, eliminating the need for slab demolition.
Televised sewer from outside clean oout back into house. Located an area at about 25 - 30 ft where there is a large hole in the bottom of pips and cannot get passed. Located area in the closet on other side of bathroom.
On 3-6-2024: I opened the floor and cleaned out removed pipe installed a new 4” PVC floor clean out, and cleaned sewer 75’ to the city main. Heavy roots throughout the space. Also measured sewer in preparation for lining. 3-7-2024: Inserted a four-foot spot repair liner and positioned it over the area just upstream of the city main where the pipe had dropped. Inserted a 4-6” liner through the newly installed inside clean-out extending approximately 70 feet downstream ending in the previously installed spot repair upstream of the city main. Reinstated the existing drain tile located just past the cast-to-clay connection. Backfilled hole with 3/4” stone and recentered concrete floor.
Underground duct video inspection service call. Ducts run from kitchen out under lower bedroom. Ducts are taking on water during heavy rains; recommended sump pump installation to help move water away from home. Also recommended lining for ducts once this is fixed.
Sewer line video camera inspection service call. Televised sewer from pulled toilet because stack in back of house bring it back to pulled toilet. Heavy roots at 77 ft that cannot get passed. Customer is having his plumber come back and rod from pulled toilet. Provide estimate for changing clean put in basement then lining to main.
We are applying our rubberized duct lining material to all of the underground asbestos transite air ducts.
We are cleaning the entire underground air duct system with our special high powered vacuum. We are then going to encapsulate the underground asbestos transite air ducts with our rubberized duct lining material. The air ducts will be completely sealed and the air in the home will be safe for the customer to breathe.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized metal and showing heavy signs of rust and deterioration and letting stand nes into the ducts reducing airflow to certain rooms. Downspouts all need to be extended to reduce the water next to the house. Once water issue is resolved the ducts should be spincast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.
