6-30-2023: tv’d kitchen line from under sink, saw a screw possibly drilled through pvc pipe or stuck in pipe, elbow at bottom of drop was holding water could not get camera through bottom elbow. Ran kitchen water no water made it to outside clean out or tee connection from kitchen(had camera in 4” main from outside clean out). Preformed a smoke test from under kitchen sink we had heavy smoke out roof vent stack, smoke where pvc pipe goes into concrete floor under cabinet, also smoke in laundry room area. No smoke made it to outside clean out, tee connection into main line, or main waste stack.
Sewer video inspection service call. Televised sewer from outside clean out into stack approximately 10ft. Pipe is scaled but do not see major hole of separation. Suggest smoke testing to determine where flies are coming in.
Customer is experiencing water throughout their underground air duct system. To alleviate this problem, we are going to install a perforated sump pump pit next to the furnace to capture the water before it enters the air ducts. We are also going to install a section of perforated drain tile under the air ducts and run it to the sump pit to capture more water. The water from the pit will be pumped out the side of the house.
