Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized plastic coated ducts that are showing signs of water intrusion, possible mold and rust. Suggest spin cast mortaring the spray lining ducts with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized spiral wound. Ran kitchen sink and discovered water entering duct in kitchen area. Suggest plumber fix kitchen drain line under slab floor.
Serviced exposed HVAC ductwork in Roselle residence. System inspection revealed significant air leakage at three main junction points in the basement area. Approximately 23% energy loss calculated. Removed existing deteriorated mastic sealant. Cleaned all surfaces properly. Applied professional-grade aluminum tape reinforcement followed by mastic sealant application at all seams and connections. Performed smoke test to verify proper sealing. System now operating at optimal efficiency with improved airflow to all rooms. Estimated 15-20% reduction in energy costs expected.
Televised sewer from overhead. Will revise quote for descaling cast iron then lining 12 ft from overhead all 6”

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are spiral wound metal ducts and are showing heavy signs of rust. There was water in bottom of plenum. Suggest moving downspouts away from house and possibly installing a sump pit and pump to control the water. After water is controlled the ducts should be spin cast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Televised sewer from pulled toilet and located cast to clay and connection to city main. Sewer exits house on left side from street and is 4’ 6” deep at cast to clay. Will provide quote for lining after a clean out is installed.
Working out in Roselle this afternoon. Applied second application of RS-100 to all underground duct work. This product is a mastic sealant used to prevent air leaks in HVAC systems. It is applied by spreading a thick layer over the seams of the ductwork and smoothing it out with a trowel.
Applied first application of Rs-100 to all underground duct work.
Cleaned and televised all underground ductwork. Applied trenchless spincast mortar to all underground ductwork . Repaired and rebuilt all register vents and furnace box
Applied second application of duct armor to all underground ductwork.
I responded to a call to perform a video inspection of the ductwork beneath the slab of a residential property. Upon examining the ducts, I discovered that a booster fan serving the front section of the home was not functioning, which was likely contributing to the airflow issues. Furthermore, I detected a shift in the duct running towards the rear of the house. Based on these findings, I will prepare a proposal to attempt clearing out the accumulated rock obstructing the ductwork.
I conducted a thorough duct inspection under the slab floor at a residence in Roselle, IL today. The ducts are spiral wound metal and are severely rusted, with standing water observed in the front of the house and the plenum. Based on the findings, I recommend installing a pit and pump system outside the front of the house, followed by spin casting mortar and spray lining the ducts to completely rehabilitate the system.
I applied the initial coating of Duct Armor to all underground ductwork and the furnace box. This specialized coating forms a durable protective barrier on the interior surfaces of the ducts, sealing any existing leaks and preventing future corrosion. The application process involved thorough surface preparation, followed by the precise application of the coating to ensure complete coverage and long-lasting protection against moisture and contaminants.
