The unit for the kitchen has developed a thick grease residue on the heat exchangers and every time the heat kicks on it creates smoke causing the unit to trip the smoke alarm which has to be reset manually. This needs to be addressed by removing the heat exchangers and washing them with a pressure washer. Cost for this repair would be $1000. I was able to get the ac to work as long as the heat isn’t switched on. I ran both ice machines through a cleaning. Cleaned all coils.
