It’s rare to find good customer service let alone a company that goes above and beyond. My AC unit needed replaced thanks to the R-22 phase out and our overly regulated federal government (need I digress). My father had a great experience with Westin Air a couple years ago so I gave them a call. Cathy provided a quote and promptly answered several email questions. The bid from Westin Air was almost a $1000 better than competitive bids I received for the same unit! My installation requirements were unique and Westin Air went out of their way during a busy season to assist with the solution. The installation process went smooth and the technicians kept the house clean (used drop cloths without being asked to keep the path from the front door to the basement clean). Westin Air provided a trifecta…best product, best price and best service. I proudly recommend Westin Air.

Upon arrival inspected furnace and unit was heating to temp. Performed heating maintained due to no present issues. Vacuumed up all debris around and inside furnace burner compartment from vent pipe. Should keep an eye out for further issues and replace cap if problems persist. Gas heating preventative maintenance performed Check filter - ok Clean flame sensor Inspect burners - no concerns Ohm test igniter: 63 Inspect wiring for loose connections and/or hot spots - none found Check humidifier pad: n/a Inspect exhaust flu - lots of debris around pipe, vacuumed no holes discovered on vent. Set thermostat for heat Check delta T - 56° Furnace is in optimal running conditions
Service recall Per tenant: Blower intermittently stops Witnessed this the last visit one time and could not duplicate the issue Last visit did remedy a loose blower wire, but this obviously did not solve the intermittent blower stoppage issue Verified voltage present and motor not coming on Spoke to Randy for replacement motor approval Got OEM motor and replaced Furnace running normally at this time.
Furnace locked out for 3 hours on high temperature limit Reset power, jumped out thermostat to run heat and bypass the time delay from power reset Furnace came on normally Set gas pressure to 3.0" Let Furnace run a while until confident the limit wasn't going to trip Pulled jumpers off (thermostat calling for heat at the same time), blower motor stopped while everything else continues to run This explains limit trips Found common wire for blower loose Tried to duplicate fault Furnace continued to run property after securing blower wire
Inspected furnace and cleaned control board removing dirt and dust buildup. Reinstalled bracket to secure 14x25x1 filter into the bottom of the furnace as designed to keep dirt trapped outside of unit. Performed heating maintenance verifying heat operation and component operations.
Checked and found bad hot surface ignitor replaced ignitor with oem 767a- 370 ignitor cycled furnace 3 times positive ignition all three times furnace operating properly at this time left tstat at 68 degrees
Upon arrival, system was in heating on mode. Inspection of furnace shows the control board is flashing code 24-secondary voltage fuse open. Inspection of control board snd wiring shows no shorts to ground. Inspection of thermostat wiring shows that the Blue wire rhat is hooked to common in the furnace is hooked up to B on thermostst. B on the thermostat is used as a heating changeover valve control. When heating is turned on, B is energized, and in this wiring setup, it is a direct connection from power to ground causing the secondary voltage fuse to blow. Current thermostat that appears to be new does not require a common wire. Removed blue wire from thermostat and furnace control board. Test ran in heating, cooling, and fan only modes with no other issues found. System is operational at this time.
System two North hallway and school entrance office Outdoor unit locked out on Comfort Alert service code 4 - locked rotor amps Discovered bad starting relay contactor and replaced. Cooling test run is an excellent condition at this time. Air filters have already been replaced and system is producing 50.3 supply temperature with 306 & 120 running pressures
