This is the second time I have used Westin Air for equipment installation. Both times I have been very satisfied. Seth came out this time and did a thorough and professional job, was pleasant while he was here, and cleaned up afterwards. Can't ask for more!

90 plus two stage gas furnace, carrier one stage heat pump, Initial run testing confirmed correct operation of the primary mechanicals including the gas furnace with the blower and a carrier heat pump Multiple on and off cycles all produce the same results in both modes with the heat pump running and producing 101° of supply temperature and the gas furnace was producing 134 and climbing until the high stage gas pressure was reduced one full turn counterclockwise reducing the supply temperature and stabilizing it at 125° f. Resurface flame sensor and flush furnace condensate trap Cycle through all installation and pro settings of the nest thermostat, test run heat pump heat and gas heat (alternate heat mode) and confirm startup multiple times After a heating cycle shutdown the thermostat displayed a warning indicating reattach to sub base and connect to power for use. Furnace power is confirmed on and thermostat is intermittently working. Recommend homeowners contact nest tech sup
Upon arrival unit was not operating. Filter was clogged solid with incense soot and sucked into blower compartment. Replaced filter and test ran furnace and no problems occurred.
Humidifier is wired up properly to Vision Pro 8K thernostat for operation. Programming was on the wrong setting as the thermostat would turn on the humidifier without turning on the fan. Thermostat is now programmed to properly run fan when running. Worry about mold on humidifier pad is actually iron or rust deposits from bad house water. Geothermal hot water generator is hooked up properly but the shutoff was off. Opened shutoff and burped internal flow pump to be safe. Also test ran in cooling to get hot water generator pump to operate. Pump came on with no issues. Issue with humidifier leaking cancer traced back to high amounts of iron/rust in water. Recommend having the water sofner/filter checked out to ensure proper filtration. Would also recommend replacing waterline to humidifier to prevent the line getting clogged with rust/iron deposits.
