The primary cause of the water leak on the floor is a clogged 3/4-in drain trap from the evaporator coil leading to the floor drain. Inspect and flush evaporator coil drain pan and all drain lines and traps to the floor. Drain and flush gas furnace condensate trap. Resurface flame sensor and run test equipment in heating and cooling modes Install 2-in PVC vent drain kit, clean equipment in the burner compartment and treat the rust with an oil bath **Upper furnace door was left off intentionally so equipment can be inspected for water 1 to 2 times weekly during heating season Combustion blower assembly has condensate corrosion buildup around the bottom seams of the assembly and the heat exchanger collector box also has rust staining visible on the front. Equipment is currently safe to run but if water is found located anywhere in the upper or lower compartments during heating season those components will need replaced
