Mitsubishi is super quiet inside and so is the compressor unit outside. Some other heat pumps have noisy fans and snapping in and out electrical contacts. As I mentioned to Toni on the phone at payment the outside disconnect box is a bugger to open as the bottom of the box is sucked into the vinyl siding which restricts the sliding catch from sliding back enough to release the door. And one issue I forgot was the service track coming down the wall where it crosses a rough saw board; it should have been cut off a bit shorter so the wrap around joiner would have laid flatter and have been attached to the board instead of the vinyl siding trim. There was a 1/2" gap to the weather. I bolstered the joiner support and filled the gap in with caulking. No big issue. From Grant to Joe to Dan they all showed up on time, cleaned up after the install, gave me good instructions on the remote. Joe was prepared to fix the drywall hole at the breaker panel and Dan wanted my wheelbarrow to load up the dirt he had excavated for the unit base. Who does that these days? Toni took care of the warranty reg and confirmation already received. Job well done. 4/5 on price. A bit stiff, but the Hydro rebate will help and I won't remember next year when its 30C+.
