Customer states upstairs system not cooling upon inspection found system to be in low pressure lock out found a cracked elbow supplying pressure switch in condenser customer approved repairs repaired crack with solder pulled deep vacccum and returned to factory charge
Performed 2 system heat maintenance replaced 2 16x25x4 customer provided filters cleaned flame sensors and pressure tubes tested all electrical components and connections found upstairs system evaporator coil leaking oil at liquid line connection
Performed 1 natural gas Rooftop package unit inspection. System has 2-16x25x2 filters. Will need to return and replace. Checked heating system and cooling system. Furnace is 100k btu natural gas system, checked burners and heat exchangers. Furnace is heating properly. Cooling system is 5 ton cooling capacity, checked compressor operation and refrigerant levels. Cooling system is functioning properly.
1 system PM renewal- Checked heating operations of system. Replaced filters, checked capacitor outputs and amp drawls, triggered safety switches, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned burners, and cleared drain line. 4-16x16x2
I performed a heating maintenance on three units two are heat pump air handlers one in the attic and the other one in the basement I replaced the upstairs 16x25x5 filter and I checked all electrical components and checked the temp rise and checked the Freon levels and cleaned the drain lines the main level unit is a gas furnace Ac unit it is in the basement I did not have to replaced the 16x25x5 filter I checked all electrical components and checked the temp rise and checked the heat exchanger and cleaned and checked the flame sensor and checked the gas pressures the basement unit I replaced 12x20x1 filter I checked the temp rise and checked all electrical components and checked the Freon levels and I checked the condensers and checked the capacitors everything is in good working order at this time.

Warranty- Ran new high voltage wire for Rheem furnace in attic. Pics uploaded Is aware about the membership and warranty’s Labor ends 9-6-24
The main floor unit has rusted burners causing it to fail at ignition randomly. This took multiple cycles of the furnace to catch. I will price out the repairs,customer would also like a pan estimate for system replacement.
Diagnostic fee. Outside vinyl tubing probably frozen earlier in the morning and has thawed itself out from the temps outside during the day.
Home has 2 high efficiency furnaces located in the attic with relatively long, PVC, drain lines. One of the systems has a frozen drain line the other one is still operational. The system that is operating has had a damper motor fail. This system heats the master bedroom and the upstairs bonus/playroom area. I have replaced the damper motor today labor only. Recommend that the customer add automatic electric pipe protectors. Technician send a photo of item.
Carrier Dual fuel system. On arrival today temperature is cold enough that only the furnace is operating. And on arrival today furnace is maintaining temperature. Outdoor temperature sensor determines whether the unit operates with heat pump or outdoor unit. However, technician did observe the furnace fail to stay lit. Cleaned flame sensor and vacuumed out condensation lines. Furnace is now lighting and staying lit. I am somewhat interested in checking the refrigerant side of the system/heat pump. Office will schedule a return visit on warmer day, so that refrigerant level can be inspected and performance of heat pump. As for potentially relocating the thermostat, I have uploaded photos and I am going to talk to service to manager. As to whether relocating thermostat, or possibly, adding some manual, dampers could help balance temperature between the dining/sunroom and living room..
Warranty- Main level zone not working properly because of a loose wire at the automatic dampers, I made repairs and the Main/Basement Zoned 2023 Rheem 80% furnace is now working properly. 20x25x5, pics uploaded Customer also purchased a Standard UV light for that system (Needs bulb replacement once a year)
I replaced the basement thermostat, programmed and tested the system. The new thermostat is correctly operating the system.
