CONCERN: Customer reports trash compactor is not working. CAUSE: Found gear failure. CORRECTION: Replaced gear and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested the dishwasher for proper voltage to the dishwasher terminal junction box. Voltage to junction box is normal. Tested voltage from the junction box to the main control board, voltage test normal. Tested voltage from the dishwasher main control board out to water valve and dishwasher float. Found no power going through the dishwasher main control board. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher main control board and tested, operation now normal.

Refrigerator service call. No repairs made at this time. Found unit proper temps at time of repair. Cleaned condenser coils free of charge. Only component that could cause issues customer has seen is a faulty “Cold Control Thermostat” part has been discontinued for a few years now. NLA. Recommend replace unit if issue returns

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is leaking water. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply line for leaks, no leaks at the refrigerator water supply line. Inspected internal water refrigerator water lines for leaks, internal refrigerator water line are normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator defrost drain line for water leaks, found the source of the leak coming from the refrigerator defrost drain. Removed freezer panel to inspect for clogged drain line. Found the defrost drain restricted with ice and debris. CORRECTION: Cleared the refrigerator defrost drain of ice and debris, operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected for proper output voltage from wall outlet to dishwasher, output voltage normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper input voltage from junction box to control board, voltage input to control board normal at time of inspection. Inspected output voltage from dishwasher control board to dishwasher pump and motor assembly, output voltage to pump and motor assembly normal at the time of inspection. Found dishwasher pump and motor failed. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher pump and motor assembly and tested, operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not heating. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer for proper voltage from the wall to the cord terminal block, voltage normal. Inspected voltage from terminal block to dryer control assembly, voltage normal. Inspected continuity on all thermal safety thermostats, all thermal safeties are normal. Inspected continuity at heater element, found dryer heating element failed. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer heating element and tested. Operation now normal.

Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged with lint. CORRECTION: Performed dryer vent cleaning, tested for restrictions, operation now normal
