CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is leaking water onto floor. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply line to refrigerator for leaks, no leaks found at this time. Inspected water valve for leaks, found water valve failure. CORRECTION: Replaced water valve and tested. Operation now normal. Installed steal braided water supply hose from wall to refrigerator water valve. Inspected for leaks and tested. NO LEAKS UPON COMPLETION.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator section is not getting cold but freezer is still working properly. CAUSE: Found back panel and evaporator coils covered in frost. Tested the refrigerator defrost bi-metal thermostat for continuity, refrigerator defrost bi-metal continuity failed test. Refrigerator defrost bi-metal has electrical short. CORRECTION: Defrosted refrigerator evaporator coils and replaced defrost bi-metal thermostat. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Garbage disposal is not working. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Technician inspected wall outlet for proper voltage, voltage at the wall is normal. Found garbage disposal motor locked up. CORRECTION: Replaced garbage disposal and tested. Operation now normal. Installed washer new temp sensor
CONCERN Customer reports freezer door is scraping and squeaking. CAUSE: Found a plastic piece came off. CORRECTION: Reinstalled plastic piece, lubed and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not heating. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer for proper voltage from the wall to the cord terminal block, voltage normal. Inspected voltage from terminal block to dryer control assembly, voltage normal. Inspected continuity on all thermal safety thermostats, all thermal safeties are normal. Inspected continuity at heater element, found dryer heating element failed. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer heating element and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not heating. CAUSE: Found thermal cutout tripped and lint filter screen clogged. CORRECTION: Reset cutout and washed screen.
CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports Kitchen Aid Microwave oven door springs are broken. Replaced door springs and tested. Operation is now normal. Model KEMC308KBLO1
CONCERN: Water does not dispense from door. CAUSE: Found refrigerator water filter housing failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator water filter housing and tested for leaks. Operation now normal. Also supplied customer with new ice bucket. Augers assembly had come apart.
CONCERN: Customer requests MAYTAG washer and dryer inspected. CAUSE: Found washer leaking at intake funnel and shaft seal, otherwise looks very good for approx 55 year old unit. Dryer in very good condition and working as designed. CORRECTION: Turned water inlet faucet down so it isn't splashing, recommended using as is with a drain pan underneath since it is not expected to get much use. Cleaned inside of dryer and ran unit.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not working like it should. CAUSE: Found evaporator leaking freon after heater rod rubbed a hole in it. CORRECTION: Replaced evaporator, heater and receiver dryer, checked for leaks and tested. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Compressor is suspected to be compromised after evaporator leak. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor and receiver dryer, evacuated system and recharged with freon. Operation now normal. Cost does not include labor, as it overlapped with evaporator replacement.
CONCERN: Customer reports that the food in the refrigerator section is too cold, the water sometimes does not dispense, there was a loud knocking noise that went away, and the fresh food door is not closing on its own. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected evaporator fan motor operation, evaporator fan operation is normal at this time. Inspect air return for restrictions, no restrictions at this time. Inspected the damper door assembly operation, found refrigerator damper assembly failed and is not closing. Also found fresh food door cams worn. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator damper assembly, installed new door cams, and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher door malfunctioning. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected door for visible damage, door is good condition at the time of inspection. Inspected door hinges for damage, no visible damage at the time of inspection. Inspected door springs and links, found dishwasher door hinge links failed. CORRECTION: Replaced link kit and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Dryer takes too long to dry clothes, dryer does get hot though. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested dryer for proper heater element operation. Heater operation is normal. Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged with lint. CORRECTION: Performed dryer vent cleaning, tested for restrictions, operation now normal
