CONCERN: Customer reports that the WHIRLPOOL Refrigerator is not getting cold in either compartment. CAUSE: Inspected wall voltage for proper output, voltage output is normal. Inspected compressor for proper voltage, voltage to compressor is normal. Inspected compressor starter for proper continuity, no continuity at the compressor starter. Tested compressor windings for electrical shorts, no shorts at compressor windings. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor starter and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not heating. CAUSE: Inspected dryer wall receptacle for proper voltage to the dryer, voltage to the dryer is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer terminal block and cord for visible shorts, no shorts found at terminal block or cord at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer heater continuity on the heater element, heating element tested good at the time of inspection, Tested thermal safety for continuity, no continuity present, Found dryer thermal safety shorted out. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer thermal safety and tested. Operation now normal. CONCERN: Dryer takes too long to dry clothes, dryer does get hot though. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested dryer for proper heater element operation. Heater operation is normal. Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged wi

CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested the dishwasher for proper voltage to the dishwasher terminal junction box. Voltage to junction box is normal. Tested voltage from the junction box to the main control board, voltage test normal. Tested voltage from the dishwasher main control board out to water valve and dishwasher float. Found no power going through the dishwasher main control board. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher main control board and tested, operation now normal.

CONCERN: Whirlpool Dryer is making a loud noise when tumbling. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer barrel operation, operation normal. Inspected blower wheel for restrictions, no restrictions in or around blower wheel. Found dryer drum support rollers failed. CORRECTION: Replaced rollers, belt, and idler pulley. Operation now normal

CONCERN: Customer reports Samsung refrigerator is leaking water. Model RF260BEAESRH DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply line for leaks, no leaks at the refrigerator water supply line. Inspected internal water refrigerator water lines for leaks, internal refrigerator water line are normal at the time of inspection. Inspected refrigerator defrost drain line for water leaks, found the source of the leak coming from the refrigerator defrost drain. Removed freezer panel to inspect for clogged drain line. Found the defrost drain restricted with ice and debris. CORRECTION: Cleared the refrigerator defrost drain of ice and debris, operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not cooling properly. CAUSE: Found refrigeration system low on freon. CORRECTION: Recharged system and tested. Operation now normal. Note: NO GUARANTEE ON RECHARGING SYSTEM. Since a refrigerator that is low on freon has a known leak we cannot guarantee performance of the unit after freon has been refilled. When a welded unit is low on freon it has leaked out, however we cannot determine the rate at which a leak is. Customer has acknowledged that this is a temporary fix only and is not to be considered a long lasting repair.

CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal.
