Edgar was punctual, professional and personable. He was able to find the problem and recommend a fix to get our fridge back up and running. And while the fix is not permanent it at least gives us some time to research and review a replacement project over the next year or two.

CONCERN: Customer reports dryer lint screen housing damaged CORRECTION: replaced lint screen housing( customer provided part) and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not working properly. CAUSE: Found dryer timer knob damaged due to worn out timer. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer timer and knob. tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports microwave is not working properly. CAUSE: Tested Microwave door switches for continuity, found microwave interlock door switches have electrical short and failed. CORRECTION: Replace microwave interlock door switches and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports that the washer is not draining. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage to washer, voltage output from wall outlet normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage output from control to washer drain pump, voltage to drain pump normal at the time of inspection. Found washer pump impeller was trying to turn however the technician found washer drain pump clogged with debris. CORRECTION: Removed drain pump to clear debris and re-installed, check for leaks and tested, Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

Inspected compressor for proper voltage, voltage to compressor is normal. Inspected compressor starter for proper continuity, no continuity at the compressor starter. Tested compressor windings for electrical shorts, no shorts at compressor windings. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor starter and tested. Operation now normal.

CONCERN: Customer reports Oven is not heating. CAUSE: Tested wall receptacle for proper voltage, line voltage at wall receptacle is normal. Inspected oven cord and terminal block for wear or electrical shorts. No signs of electrical short at power cord or oven terminal block. Inspected oven bake element terminal and found Oven bake element terminal failure. CORRECTION: Replaced oven bake element and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports ice is not dispensing. CAUSE: Found ice bucket auger coupler damaged. CORRECTION: Replaced ice bucket assembly and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports plastic spatula fell on heater. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher heater assembly and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Oven light and fan inoperative. CAUSE: oven door switch damaged CORRECTION: Replaced oven door switch and tested. Operating as designed.
CONCERN: Customer reports water leaking into the refrigerator section of the refrigerator. CAUSE: Found defrost drain clogged with debris. CORRECTION: Removed debris and installed defrost drain heater. Tested operation, all normal upon completion. No leaks upon completion.
