The tech was great but the water froze up again the next morning. Don’t want to spend more money on service calls so I guess we are on our own.

We felt Edgar did an excellent job! The removal and reinstallation of the microwave/oven wall unit was difficult but Edgar was able to do it without damaging the cabinet or appliances. He replaced the magnetron and diode and door latch parts. We were so glad that the parts were readily available and that the problem was corrected without any delays. We enjoyed visiting with Edgar who is a very nice young man. We would not hesitate to use Affordable Appliance Repair again should a need arise in the future.

CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher making noise and error e15 present DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Found dishwasher leaking on the bottom. Upon further inspected found diverter motor leaking cause catch pan to fill with water trip sensor. CORRECTION: Replaced diverter motor assembly with new gasket and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator ice maker not working CAUSE: Found that their was ice stuck in the rake for the ice maker CORRECTION: removed ice and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports Oven is not heating. CAUSE: Tested wall receptacle for proper voltage, line voltage at wall receptacle is normal. Inspected oven cord and terminal block for wear or electrical shorts. No signs of electrical short at power cord or oven terminal block. Inspected oven bake element terminal and found Oven bake element terminal failure. CORRECTION: Replaced oven bake element and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports washer is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for voltage output, voltage output to washer normal at the time of inspection. Inspect voltage to control, voltage to control was normal at the time of inspection. Inspected signal from control to washer shift actuator, found washer shift actuator failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer shift actuator and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Refrigerator section is not getting cold. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected voltage from terminal block to compressor, voltage normal at the time of inspection. Tested compressor operation, compressor operation normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage to evaporator fan motor, voltage normal at the time of inspection. Found evaporator fan motor failed. CORRECTION: Replaced refrigerator evaporator fan motor and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection. Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports exhaust fan does not operate. CAUSE: Found range hood motor burnt out. CORRECTION: Replaced motor and tested. Operating normal at this time.
CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher upper dish rack fell off. CAUSE: Found dishwasher upper rail clip misaligned and dishwasher not properly leveled. CORRECTION: Replaced clip and adjusted dishwasher and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports washer is not agitating. CAUSE: Washer agitator gears stripped. CORRECTION: Replaced agitator gears and tested, operation now normal. CONCERN: Customer reports washer water inlet is not working properly. CAUSE: Found washer water valve failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer water valve and tested. Operation now normal. NOTE: After repairs were completed inspected for leaks, no leaks at time of completion
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage output, voltage output normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for voltage input at the compressor, compressor voltage input normal at the time of inspection. NOTE: Compressor was running and cooling unit down. Inspected voltage input at the condenser fan motor, input voltage was normal at the time of inspection. Found condenser fan motor Locked up and not running. CORRECTION: Replaced condenser fan motor and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator glass self damaged CORRECTION: replaced vegetable self assembly with glass and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is leaking in refrigerator section. CAUSE: inspected plastic vapor defrost pan and found rusted and leaking CORRECTION: replaced pan with update steel pan and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: CAUSE: Found dryer blower wheel failed. CORRECTION: Replaced blower wheel and tested, operation is now normal Roller Kit) CONCERN: Dryer is making a loud noise when tumbling. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer barrel operation, operation normal. Inspected blower wheel for restrictions, no restrictions in or around blower wheel. Found dryer drum support rollers failed. CORRECTION: Replaced rollers, belt, and idler pulley. Operation now normal
CONCERN: Customer reports washer is making a loud noise when running. CAUSE: Found washer bearing and shaft failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer bearings, seal and rotor shaft, tested for leaks. Operation now normal.
