I have a 5/ 6 year-old Samsung washer that was not draining, just making a noise. I made an appointment and Edgar came out in 2 days. Diagnosed the issue and came back to replace the water pump. The washer works like new. Edgar was very friendly and helpful with some questions I had regarding some brown specks in the washer which was mostly due to the use of fabric softener. I would recommend Affordable Appliance for washer repair.

CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not cooling properly in the fridge. DIAGNOSTIC & CAUSE: Inspected and found light door switch damaged . No continuity at door switch. CORRECTION. Replace door switch and tested, operation is now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is not working properly. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested the dishwasher for proper voltage to the dishwasher terminal junction box. Voltage to junction box is normal. Tested voltage from the junction box to the main control board, voltage test normal. Tested voltage from the dishwasher main control board out to water valve and dishwasher float. Found no power going through the dishwasher main control board. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher main control board and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

Tested voltage from terminal block to control, voltage good. Tested voltage from control to ignitor, voltage good. Found oven ignitor has electrical short. CORRECTION: Replaced ignitor and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Dryer is making a loud noise when tumbling. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer barrel operation, operation normal. Inspected blower wheel for restrictions, no restrictions in or around blower wheel. Found dryer drum support rollers failed. CORRECTION: Replaced rollers, belt, and idler pulley. Operation now normal Removed dryer drum to access loose lint inside the dryer cabinet. Cleaned out dryer cabinet and inspected parts for defects. Dryer internal drum support components are in good shape. Reassembled cabinet and tested dryer.
CONCERN: customer states ice maker leaking. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: reset ice maker and fill ice tray. Verified leak. Inspected and found ice tray cracked. CORRECTION: replaced ice maker assembly. Tested and operating normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports oven is not working. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested voltage from the wall to the oven terminal block, voltage test normal. During inspection technician found the terminal block had electrical short. CORRECTION: Replaced terminal block and cord, operation now normal.

CORRECTION: cleared port and tested, operation now normal.

Inspected voltage from control board to microwave turn table motor, voltage was normal. Found Microwave turn table motor shorted. CONCERN: Customer reports washer water inlet is not working properly, LF error code present. CAUSE: Found washer water valve failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer water valve and tested. Operation now normal. NOTE: After repairs were completed inspected for leaks, no leaks at time of completion
