We are extremely pleased with Affordable Appliance Repair. The receptionist was super friendly & knowledgeable. Service was scheduled and completed within 2 business days. The tech, Carlos, was excellent. He completed the work in a very short amount of time and did fantastic work. He called ahead, showed up on time and was very friendly. We will definitely use Affordable Appliance again if we need any additional appliance repairs.

Brendon installed a new board in my dishwasher in August on 2022. I still had problems with my dishwasher and he came out to check the machine 3 times----always was very courteous, friendly, and professional. I had the feeling that he would do whatever it took to fix the problem for me. He replaced the other board today and pretty much assured me that my problems with my dishwasher were behind me. I would recommend his work highly.

CONCERN: Washer is not draining or spinning DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected washer for proper output voltage from washer control to the washer motor, voltage output is normal at the time of testing. Inspected washer pump, Found washer pump failure. CORRECTION: Replaced washer pump and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator ice maker not despising at door. CAUSE: Found ice bucket ice up and door flap CORRECTION: removed ice bucket and defrost door flap and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports dryer is not running . CAUSE: Inspected dryer wall receptacle for proper voltage to the dryer, voltage to the dryer is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer terminal block and cord for visible shorts, no shorts found at terminal block or cord at the time of inspection. Inspected dryer heater continuity on the heater element, heating element tested good at the time of inspection, Tested thermal safety for continuity, no continuity present, Found dryer thermal safety shorted out. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer thermal safety and tested. Operation now normal.
Concern: alarm constantly going off. Cause: door/light switch broken and failed. CORRECTION: replaced and tested door switch, controls now read that the door is closing, light is turning on and off when door is opened and closed. Fridge- instructed customer on how to maintain condenser coils so he can do it himself, informed to call back needed, ice maker should start cycling after condenser coils cleaned.

Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection. Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

Inspected for proper voltage from terminal block to control, voltage is normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage from control to DC inverter, found voltage supply to the inverter normal however no voltage coming out of the inverter to the compressor. Found compressor inverter control board failed. CORRECTION: Replaced compressor inverter control board and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports oven is not working. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected oven for proper wall outlet voltage to the oven, Output voltage normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage input at the main control board, input voltage to the main control board normal at the time of inspection. Found oven main control board failed. CORRECTION: Replaced and tested, operation now normal.
Replaced and tested dish rack adjuster brackets. Upper rack is secure and operating as designed after installation.

CONCERN: Customer reports washer water inlet is not working properly. CAUSE: Found washer water valve failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer water valve and tested. Operation now normal. NOTE: After repairs were completed inspected for leaks, no leaks at time of completion

Inspected voltage output from control to washer drain pump, voltage to drain pump normal at the time of inspection. Found washer pump impeller was trying to turn however the technician found washer drain pump clogged with debris. CORRECTION: Removed drain pump to clear debris and re-installed, check for leaks and tested, Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Dryer takes too long to dry clothes, dryer does get hot though. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested dryer for proper heater element operation. Heater operation is normal. Inspected heater thermostat operation for short cycling condition, thermostat is short cycling. Inspected dryer air flow at the duct flume, air flow is normal at this time, no signs of flow restriction. Cause, Wall vent clogged with lint. CORRECTION: Performed dryer vent cleaning, tested for restrictions, operation now normal
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator not making ice CAUSE: Found bad icemaker CORRECTION:Installed icemaker from other refrigerator and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
