Trial in March so attorneys are called to a pre-trial hearing. This is for an auto accident case. Client was a passenger.
Friday mornings are busy court mornings for Motions and Hearings. Settlement hearing for a minor child who had been involved in a horrific accident and trying to move other cases to trial dates by asking the Judge to set deadlines.
Nursing home neglect. Family of mother with bedsores pursuing against nursing facility for proper care.
Client was involved in an auto accident with a John Doe driver. He suffered a shoulder injury and was told he should have surgery.
Husband and Wife pushed off road into a pole by a defendant driver who could not read his own driver's test but through an interpreter. They were awarded a judgment in general sessions but then the defendant's attorneys filed to move it up to circuit court. They are at the mediation stage, pre-trial.
Two gentlemen were customers at an Exxon station on Dickerson Pike in Nashville when another vehicle pulled into the parking lot in an attempt to steal the vehicles the clients arrived in. When the clients were exiting the building to see what was happening, they were both shot before the assailants took off in their vehicle. Exxon notably had security on the premise most times but not this time, thwarting any possible protection for our clients.
