I have had my chimney cleaned for several years now by 2nd Gen and I am extremely pleased every time with the work they do and the communication and any recommendations that they provide with the condition of the chimney. Troy is a 'repeat cleaner' and has been here several times. He is professional taking pictures of the buildup and noting any issues he sees. I am very comfortable and have peace of mind using 2nd Gen knowing experts like Troy will be out to clean my chimney. Thank you again.

Matthias was a great help! he quickly dialed in that my issue was actually an insulation problem and confirmed my gas fireplace chimney had no issues. another company didn't take the time to look at anything except the chimney chase from the roof and wanted $1500 to fix a problem that didn't actually exist.

Our cap was blown off a vent on the roof on a windy winter night and I had no idea who would even fix something like that. Six HVAC companies said they wouldn't do it and a roofer said the same. Finally I got 2nd Generation's name and called and a day later they came out. Matthias fully and easily explained what he'd have to do and did it well and efficiently and gave us great peace of mind that the problem was taken care of.
