disappointed with glass to framing material ratio-don't remember if I saw a picture of the window to be ordered. work crew were efficient and did a good job installing the window i accepted the price quoted because of my sister's company recommendation, but from my past experience as a handyman, believe I paid a premium price.

Thanks for the review. Yes impact windows have a thicker frame therefore a little less glass. This is due to the impact window design and the support required to withstand hurricane force winds and pressures. There are less expensive options in the market place as well both from a labor and material standpoint. We do not sell junk and we do not use sub contractors thus the price is a bit more expensive. Of course, one can always save money but with remodeling, much like most other products and services in the marketplace, you do get what you pay for.
