Amazing Service Experience

After calling several other electricians in the area and being sorely disappointed by their lack of response; I called Haas and Sons Electric. They were amazing. Price quoted is the price that I paid. The work was done in an effective and efficient manner with no mess made. Additionally, they worked with me to make my ideas work, within a budget and without unnecessary mess or damage to my home. Nick was amazing. Personable and friendly; a real asset. I am extremely pleased with their work and the customer service I received. Anyone who lives in Maryland knows customer service is often lacking but, not in this case. I highly recommend Haas and Sons. I will be using them next for some smart switches and replacing my outlets.

WO-TNFR77624 Customer has 2 original 50 cfm bathroom exhaust fans that are not properly working properly and are not vented out the attic. We will be installing 2 new Haas and sons supplied Panasonic quiet type fans in lace of existing fans in the the 2nd floor bathrooms. We will be installing new through the roof vent outs with new 4inch venting from fans to new vent caps. 7/14 Returned today and completed scoped work. We removed the 2 original 50 cfm bathroom exhaust fans and installed new Panasonic quiet type select a speed fans in their place. We set both fans to 110 cfm because both fans have showers. We installed new roof top goose neck vent outs with dampers that close when fan is not in use. We ran 4” flex venting from new fans up to the new vent outs. Once installed we tested both fans and they are working properly.

I removed a junction box that was screwed to the floor under the dishwasher in the kitchen. The feed was coming through the floor So I ran a new multi feed circuit from the main electrical panel through the utility room up into the kitchen under the sink then pvc piped it for better protection into a 1900 box. I then re fed the garbage disposal switch which only had a 14-2 wire to it. I replaced it with a 14-3. I installed a QO arc fault 2 pole 15 amp breaker And I installed 2 gfcis under the sink. I then put a company supplied cord on the garbage disposal and a customer supplied cord to the dishwasher. I tested the garbage disposal but not the washing machine as it wasn’t hooked up to the water line yet Customer has a 18 month warranty Labeled circuits on panel

Customer called to install a chandelier I installed a customer supplied chandelier on a 18 foot ceiling in the main foyer The box in the ceiling was recessed to far in the drywall so installed a spacer box so the bracket for the chandelier would be tight to the ceiling giving it the best support I also removed and replaced 4 three way switches (existing switches are original to the home) Inside the electrical panel I noticed many multi feed wires on single pole breakers So I removed them and installed two pole breakers for these circuits I also installed a whole home surge protector Customer has a 18 month warranty on work preformed

Upon arrival I spoke to the customer and we talked about replacing the chandelier in the dining room. After talking for a little we decide to replace the chandelier and install a dimmer switch. Upon completion of job it was noted that the medallion for the light would not sit flush to ceiling due to ceiling not being level and there only being two screws holding it up in the middle. Informed customer of this and customer said it’s fine, and they would take care of it.

After looking at panel, which is new, we believe that the intermittent power and surges are stemming from a possible BGE issue. In addition we have found no faults in the garbage disposal circuit, we recommend a new breaker if problem continues. Lastly we have delivered several estimates.
