I originally came out to check the oven that kept tripping the electrical breaker the customer informed me that it’s a brand new oven and the old oven was doing the same thing I immediately went downstairs opened up the main electric panel and felt the wiring and the breaker to the oven and they were getting very hot to the touch so I took the breaker off investigated it and the breaker itself was overheating due to a malfunction so I removed and replaced the two pole 50 amp Cutler hammer breaker and the customer also mentioned that there were five receptacles throughout the home that she would like replaced due to the fact that they no longer would hold cord ends in anymore. I did discuss with the landlord that most of these receptacles are older and a whole home re-device might be something to consider in the near future.
