I removed and replaced old motor in attic fan. The previous electrical installer had it set up unsafe and incorrectly so I re supported the fan motor and installed a automatic kill switch next to the fan. I tested the fan and it worked great. Set it to 105 degrees Originally we were going to add a arc fault breaker for that circuit but the age of the devices we held off and I informed customer they should have us out to re device either that circuit or the whole house due to the age of the devices and the fact they are stabbed in the back Also there was a 6 inch vent going to the existing attic fan blowing out from the bathroom to the motor of the fan. I removed that and customer will have to have someone to vent that through the roof because it is unsafe for that moisture to go directly to a attic fan motor I installed a QO flush mount whole home surge protector. Customer has a 18 month warranty on work preformed
