Had one of those 'it only works when the serviceman is here' problems. Fortunately Micheal was able to find the problem and find an effective less costly alternative to the obvious solution of running new conduit. Very satisfied with Haas & Sons overall customer service and Micheal's creative solution that saved us money. Haas & Sons will be our 'go to' electricians for any future needs.

Customer has a recess light in kitchen over island that is flickering. I removed everything to get to the wiring and tested the voltage and was reading 120 volts. I bypassed the thermal over load system in the recess light and the light stopped flickering. Unfortunately the recess light is original to the home and it is a lightolier. And we have to special order this recess light due to the model number and age of the light. I ordered the light and it should be in, in a few days at the supply shop. When i get the light i have a scheduled appointment to return to the home to remove and replace the light on Monday January 16th 2023 for my second call of the day most likely ill be here around 11 am or 12 pm. Customer paid the 89 to and will pay the remaining balance when the work is complete I removed the existing lightolier recess light that had a burnt out thermal over load system i installed a old work can with a new and installed the existing jumper and trim with a new customer
Original call was to check power at front entry and laundry room near garage. Post lamp and driveway switch was tripping gfci in garage. I noticed the dimmer switch controlling a gfci, this application will never work. In addition there was a second receptacle on outside of garage being controlled as well. I recommended that the gfci be bypassed from the existing switch leg and to re feed the one outside garage to be bypassed from switch leg as well. Customer wished to us perform this solution. I bypassed the existing switchleg at gfci, disconnecting the exterior receptacle until we can return. Lastly, we installed the customer supplied switch at the front door and restored power to the front lights.we shall return next Thursday to complete scheduled work. We have returned and completed scheduled work. We have re-fed the existing exterior receptacle on garage from the interior GFCI. Need to add power for motorized shades. Installed new wiring for outside patio motorized screens, getting power from existing porch ceiling fan circuits. These units are hard-wired. Wired and tested the shades to make sure they are working properly.
I removed a damaged and nonfunctional motion light above the garage and replaced it with a high efficiency company supplied motion light and I also found what switch controls this light in the garage Customer has a ONE YEAR WARRANTY with us for this work but the light fixture comes with a 10 year warranty from the manufacturer. If we come out after a year and replace the light customer will just pay for labor and not for the light
This estimate includes the installation of 4recess lights and a brace box for the center of the room. We shall rewire the existing switched receptacle to be constantly hot, this shall provide a neutral wire for the new lighting. In addition we shall convert the existing single gang box to a 2gang box to accommodate new switch. Both new lighting switches shall be operated from dimmer switches. Lastly, to adhere to NEC standards we shall provide arc fault protection for the multi-feed circuit. We shall return the 17th of October to complete scheduled work. We have taken deposit. We have completed the installation of the recess lights, dimmer switches and brace box in dining room.

Previous receptacle was backstabbed instead of wires wrapped around the screws. We will replace the old receptacle with a new one and tied the wires together in the box and connect to the receptacle using the screw terminals on the side
WO-TNFR77775 Customer was having issues with smoke detectors chirping throughout home even after replacing the 9v batteries. After talking to customer we found that the units were almost 10 years old and the older 9v style battery backups. We replaced all 6 units in home with new KIDDE hard wired units with 10 year lithium ion back up batteries. We installed 2 smoke/ carbon monoxide combo detectors in home (1 in foyer and 1 in the basement rec room, and 1 smoke detector in each of the three 1st floor bedrooms as well as one in the unfinished area new the main panel. We also provided a quote for a 240 volt 60 amp charger hook up.
Replace ceiling light in basement room and install support box. Replace outside gfci with new weather resistant gfci and in-use cover. Rewired and fix 4 outside lights by grill.
I ran a 6-3 romex wire from the main electrical panel in the garage up into the rafters then Pvc pipped down the wall and drilled through the concrete into the crawl space Then I supported the wire and drilled into the basement where I drilled holes and ran my wire through the joists over to the position of the kitchen counter top and the new cooktop. Went upstairs and cut a two gang old work box out then drilled to the basement and fished my wires through where I would install a 11 B box for the new whip of the cooktop to be installed I then put a blank plate on the two gang old work box and made my connections in the panel after supporting all the wire throughout my run I labeled the panel and the plate Tested Customer has a 1 year warranty
This estimate includes the repair to the deck and grill circuit. This estimate includes the repair of the existing exterior receptacles. We have repaired the grill and back deck circuit. We have installed a new weather rated GFCI on deck and have installed weather rated plugs at grill location. In addition we have installed new “in use†Weather proof covers. We have also repaired the exterior receptacles on the home. We had to feed the existing back door receptacle with a new line. Junction and splice located underneath back deck. In addition we have provided GFCI protection for all exterior receptacles and garage receptacle. New back door GFCI is outfitted with weather proof “in use†cover.
Removed and replaced 2 light fixtures on main level of home using customer supplied light fixtures. Also disconnected wiring from 2 sconce lights so the boxes can be patched over.
We have installed the 2new customer supplied wall sconces in the living room.
replace the 2 front sconce lights on the front of the house as well as the 2 on the garage. We will need to install siding blocks for the 2 on the garage. We will also add 2 new sconce lights with siding blocks on the garage (one on the opposite side of the large garage door and one on the opposite side of the side entrance door). We also replaced customer supplied foyer lights as well as moved dinning room chandelier over roughly 1 ft.
I removed a damaged 2 gang box for switches then replaced it with a 2 gang weather proof box and a in use bubble cover and replaced the dimmers. Then I came out of the top of that box and ran 1/2 inch seal tight up the post and over the top of the deck to a weather proof box I installed and installed a weather resistant receptacle Then from the bottom of the 2 gang box I came out of that and installed a weather resistant gfci and a weather proof box. This gfci controls the receptacle for the tv This has a 1 year warranty
