We have determined that the home is suffering from a dropped or lost neutral wire at the meter can. We observed severe corrosion across the BGE termination on the neutral wire in the meter can. Problem was intermittent but seeming to be a constant now. We Strongly recommend that BGE repair these connections, this matter is urgent. In addition we have installed a whole home surge protector at the main panel.

Customer had GFCI in basement unfinished area (under breaker panels) that was constantly tripping. I found that only one wire was causing the GFCI to trip. I removed wire and capped off in the box and tested all the outlets that it had fed. All outlets were working. We were unable to find what this wire went to.
