Removed and replaced a faulty dimmer for kitchen recess lights. Rewired 2 back sconce lights to bypass motion sensor so they only operate from the switch.. Checked 4 recess fixtures that are blowing bulbs frequently. Bent the tab down so it makes better contact with bulb. recommend replacing with LED bulbs if problem persists but current dimmers are only compatible with incandescent bulbs. Also verified proper voltage and a proper connections for a bedroom oreceptacle that had blown the bulb in a lamp. Voltage was normal and connections were good. Most likely cause of problem is in the lamp. Also provided quotes for adding fans in bedrooms.
