Redevicing the non white devices inside the home.
Reason for today’s visit with the customer was quoting a redevice. Unlike a usual redevice all the devices in the home that are currently white will be staying. The only ones being replaced are the ivory or light almond ones. There are exactly 80 devices being replaced. The outdoor ones are not included in these estimates. The panel is an older Challenger. Bus bar is showing signs of overheating when looking at the brown discoloration. The Subpanel is also potentially underfed. There are multiple 20 AMP breakers but the subpanel only has thirty amps in use. Customer was not interested in replacing the panel, correcting the subpanel, or doing anything regarding the panels due to them moving soon. Their only concern is Redevicing the home at this time. Customer has other electricians arriving to provide quotes. I let them know to reach out and ask for Cole if there were any questions regarding the work.
