Customer had a damaged dimmer switch controlling outside wafer recess lights another Electrician installed and the lights were not dimming due to a damaged switch. After taking the switch out I discovered one of the screws to the switch must have hit the metal old work box and it fried the dimmer. I replaced the dimmer switch and re did the splices in the box as I found the neutrals weren’t spliced properly. Then I tapped around the dimmer switch so the screws on the device would not come in contact with the box I also discovered customer had a few neutrals in the electrical panel that were doubled tapped and I split them apart and landed all the neutrals on their one screws in the grounding bar
