The reason for today’s visit was customers drier plug did not have correct voltage. Upon meeting customer, customer explained they had a technician out for their drier and he stated that the drier was only reading 160 volts out of 240. When accessing the plug, i saw that the outlet had no issues shown of hazards or any concerns that would not allow it to reach proper voltage. I then followed the wires to the sub panel where i opened the 100 amp Leviton sub panel to see the drier breaker had over-heated. With the breaker having a manufacture defect and over heating, it melted the surrounding breakers up to the top of the panel. Breakers that were affected were, 20 amp regular, (2) 20 amp AF, 20 amp AF GF, and (3) 30 amp 2 pole breakers. At this time i shut the circuit off and expressed many concern with the customer with how this would be covered under the manufactures warranty. We will be scheduling in for Weds to come back out and replace the guts of the panel. I also quoted the cust
