The customer originally called because they wanted some information about attic fans for this particular style of home we would have to go through the roof to install the attic fan due to the size of the attic is my recommendation that we install two attic fans to get the customer the most effective source of fresh air in the attic to cool it down better to help with the temperature on the third floor The attic drains that we recommend are cool breeze Smart attic fans which have the ability to hook up to your phone so you can change the temperature Setting for the attic fan and there are three settings low medium high where you can set the temperates to kick on the attic fan this is important because with other attic fans they will just turn on at a high temperature and use a lot of energy and also stressful for the motor and it takes a longer time for that attic to cool off. During my safety analysis I wanted to make sure that the electrical panels were in good condition so if we ad

Starting the inspection i started at the electrical panel and found that in panel 1(left) i found double tapped neutrals(where neutral wires are under the same lug as another neutral/ground wire) and white colored wires on breakers(needs to be color coded to indicate a hot wire). All basements receptacles in the basement should be gfci protected due to concrete exposed floors. Throughout the basement there are various loose wires and missing plates. Also in the basement there is a junction box tucked in the ceiling that has wires exposed outside the junction box. In the utility room there is a plug going into a junction box to provide power to plugs(this is not allowed by Nec). Numerous boxes throughout the basement have no cover plates. Right outside the utility room there is a cut and exposed wire in the ceiling. Once i moved upstairs and started to check the receptacles and switches throughout the house i found that all receptacles had good voltage(120-123v) and had been properly gr
We have installed a new combo smoke alarm on the 2nd floor living room area. We recommend installation all new devices to reset the life of the alarm system.
We installed customer supplied bath exhaust fan in 2nd floor hallway bathroom on a previous visit. Customer is having an issue with the light working properly. We found that the light itself is bad. The light is a built in LED. Customer is going to purchase a new one and swap the cover. While on site customer also stated their sons computer screen was shutting off randomly or what seemed to be when the powder room exhaust fan was on. I determined that the screen was going bad and overheating because nothing else that is plugged into the same receptacle is shutting off.
This estimate includes the installation of 3 new combo detection units. All units to be hardwired, interconnected and with 10year sealed batteries. We have replaced the homes existing smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detectors.

We ran a new line out of the original switch next to the entrance to the room and installed a new fan support box in the ceiling. Once installed we tested both fans and they worked properly.
