Perform electrical troubleshoot on a single circuit supplying switches and receptacles, identify fault within circuit, repair fault while repairing switches and other devices such as plugs and the breaker controlling circuit. Testing entire circuit, while making sure it is code-compliant. Does not include replacing or running new wires. 5 year warranty on entire circuit. Went through entire garage circuit and replaced all plugs and switches. Explain to customer I would recommend a dedicated circuit to fridge and freezers and another dedicated circuit for a heater. Tested all plugs and receptacles and switches and everything cut on with no issues. If we got to come back out, we will have to run a dedicated circuit to separate the load.
Returned for potential warranty after the circuit tripped again. But through investigation I found that the uplights are operational however the middle switch that controls the porch light and sconce lights trips the circuit when activated. Customer is going to get new fixtures and installers will return tomorrow to install.
Customer had a GFCI in the garage controlling eve plugs had a green light on it, but wouldn’t trip or reset. Explain to customer that is most likely a bad new GFCI or it is miswiring on the GFCI when he replaced it. Explain to customer are different options for troubleshooting and also explain that it is most likely just a miswire GFI But customer declined prices, including the customer supply GFI.

During that large rain we had the prior weekend the uplights were running during the storm and were unable to be reset until after a few days they have dried out. To remedy the issue I installed a silicone barrier around the mounting rings as they were not fully flush against the brick and had small openings allowing the heavy rain the get inside the boxes. Helped homeowner change the programmed times for timer switches and we tested operation of the lights.
- attempt to restore flow to on daughter bathroom upstairs on left hand side of stairs. ** if bigger issues are noted additional diagnostic will be required ** Successfully restored flow to sink drain connected P-trap back together and tested work. No leaks and drain is working. Customer understands there are no warranties on drain restores or connections to ptrap.
Customer called us out for 2 bidet toilet seat installs, gave estimates for seats only as stops are in working order. Customer does have one other quote on the way. Quotes are good for 30 days.
Arrived to verify that the issue with the washer was not the circuit itself but the appliance.the gfci that was installed was operating properly and had no voltage fluctuation under load. However the washer itself was sounding a very loud buzzing noise when on indicating it definitely has a fault and needs to be serviced or replaced.
Customer had a bad washer plug that was stab locked and Explained to customer that the qo panel she had in Landry room was a hazard and wasn’t safe doing any work in panel, meaning I couldn’t replace the breaker to a gfci breaker. Instead put gfci outlet behind washer and showed customer how to reset it. Explained that the washer circuit is perfect with 120v and that there’s no issues with the circuit and that if it trips gfci then to call appliance guy back. 5 year warranty only the gfci outlet. We are not responsible for anything in panels. Declined quotes today on replacing/ fixing panel.
