Customer called about his ceiling fan light not turning off even with the switch off. Found fan had a remote/ receiver kit and was controlled by a dimmer. Informed customer that a standard switch is needed for a fan with a remote to work properly. Replaced master bedroom ceiling fan dimmer with a standard single pole switch. Tested and working fine. Discussed home safety evaluation. Customer is happy with the repair.
Customer wanted a quote on installing of the day plug, which would’ve been a dedicated circuit due to the bidet being heated. Left options and customer says that she will call back if she’s ready to move forward with work quote is only good for 30 days.
Call back Friday- after 1/ customer had a burnt connection behind dishwasher that was fixed by an appliance guy and added a plug and had a breaker that was off controlling the plug. Flip breaker on and everything worked with no issues but explained how serious it is to address aluminum wiring and how important it is to pigtail plugs and switches and also having electrical panel updated due to it being very outdated with aluminum wires in panel.

Arrived to look at adding various outlet in the home. In the office closet we will add an outlet off of the closet switch. In the master bedroom we would add an outlet for bidet off the costing outlet on the other side. Advised customer since the bidet will net be on a dedicated circuit it would be best to have one that only pulls around 7 amps or lower to avoid overloading. The remains two outlets would be from the cabinet in the living room take one across to the end of the counter and the other in the wall above counter height. Quotes are good for thirty days.
