Customer called us out for a gas test due to Atmos shutting the gas off and locking the meter. Looked throughout house with customers mother, stove, oven, and water heater had code issues that need to be fixed after the testing process and before the inspecting phase. Explained everything that needed to be done to customer. Customer stated he needs to go over it with his wife and was not expecting to be told this however we did explain that when atmos turns off the gas. They require permit and inspection which means any code issues do have to be fixed prior to inspection. Quotes are good for 30 days.
Arrived on site, and the customer requested an outdoor outlet installation on the exterior surface of her home. The outlet was intended to be a back-to-back setup. Quoted for a 10-foot circuit extension to include a bell box, bubble cover, and GFCI outlet for the installation. The customer stated she only had a budget of $100–$150, which was below the required cost for the job. Provided her with the solution and estimate; she decided to hold off for now and will call back when ready to proceed. Customer was 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
