Fantastic service at a fair price

Mike did a fantastic job installing a new overhead light fixture in my home office. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and delivered the service quickly and at a very fair price. He was a real pleasure to work with and I will call them again!

Troubleshoot and repair kitchen light switch controlling overhead light and sink light not working properly, includes replacing the 3 smart switches and correcting all connections in the junction box and repairing connections in living room switch box. Found incorrect splices copper and aluminum connections in kitchen 3 gang junction box. Replaced 3 smart switches with standard switches, made correct copper to aluminum pigtails. Kitchen lights are not working properly with newer wiring indicating an attic junction box with loose connections. Lights also have no junction boxes. Informed customer that there needs to be junction boxes installed in order to safely connect the lights fixtures. Also discussed making the correct type copper to aluminum connections throughout the rest of the home. Left options for all work described including adding AFCI protection (required as per code with pigtails), surge protection and a new circuit to the back patio

Customer called about intermittent power loss as well as flickering lights throughout the home. Found meter base and panel enclosure is arcing. Nipple between panel and meter is fused together as well as significant heat damage to the main breaker lugs in the panel. Left option for replacement

Customer stated that the circuit controlling the living room was not working properly, intermittently losing power, and his plug tester was showing a “hot-to-ground reverse” reading. Prior to my arrival, the customer had checked several outlets himself, except for two on the same circuit. I inspected the two outlets he had not checked and found that one of them had a bad connection. I replaced the outlet, which powers the ADT security system, and informed the customer that it carries a five-year warranty. I also notified the customer that I would be performing a full safety evaluation. Upon opening the panel, I found that the bar connecting the main breaker to the bus bar was severely damaged, showing heat damage and discoloration. I explained to the customer that this is not safe and that, given the age of the home (built in the 2000s), the electrical panel is within the typical 20–25 year replacement range. The panel also had multiple tandem breakers install

Started backfill on trench and provided quotes to replace for exhaust fan in the hallway restroom. Price is based on customer supplied fan. Recommend going with a higher sone rating and that is how quiet the unit will be while operating.
