Received pass from city inspector and emailed copy to the homeowner. Went onsite today view the trip that had been damaged during the time on installation. Assisted in the repair of the trim and molding so that it is set back in place.
Arrived to power outage throughout home and homeowner has said oncor has been working on the lines. Went to meter and it was not lit up so called oncor to get a technician out to get the power back on. Advised customer to schedule again if something remains inoperable after power has been restored.
Upon arrival customer directly me to the water heater in garage. The water heater was leaking from tank. Gave customer estimates to replace water heater. Customer chose 12 year option. Job is scheduled for Monday. Remove and dispose of existing tank water heater. Reconnect to existing electrical connection, t&p connection and pan drain connection. Replace water shutoff and supply lines. Install flood protection device. Provide city permit and inspection. 12 year warranty on parts and labor. Electrical: verified no damages to the disconnect or water heater front he line contacting. Installed a new liquidtight conduit and wire to the new heater and terminated at both points. Turned on the circuit and verified voltage to the new unit.
Upon arrival the customer directed me to the laundry and sink adjacent to washing machine. Informed me that the sink was recently backed up and that a gray water outlet pipe wasn’t flowing any longer. Ran water at sink for about 20 minutes total. Followed path of sewer drain from sink and found that it connects to mainline for house. Gave customer estimate to perform camera inspection to further investigate open pipe under deck. Also ran water at washing machine and found that washing machine drain discharges underneath deck.
Arrived onsite, but unable to make contact with customer. Knocked on door and rang doorbell twice. Office called customer multiple times.
