Alarm Systems Inspection Annual fire alarm inspection of 400+ sensors, 60-70 pulls and strobes. All test requiring loud alarms must be done before opening. Please arrive at 7 am. All other tests that can be put on test and won't be loud can be done at anytime during their business hours. Inoperable Deficiency: Upon inspection the FACP had multiple troubles. Had “Addr Loop on Line Loop 1-4” Troubles Prior Inspection. Also had multiple zones disabled zones 1-3 to be exact. After several trouble shooting attempts the panel was able to be normal. Periodically the FACP would go from normal to multiple loop troubles, 14 to be exact. I observed this for approximately an hour. After final conclusion the panel did stay normal. Also none of the strobes functioned after alarm was activated, with everything enabled. I checked the VEC panel and worked while I spoke into the mic. But no flashes nor sounds would come out during fire alarm activation.
Arrived on site Power Supply 4 ground fault. Ground fault was on NAC 1started troubleshooting found it on a ceiling mount device. Also went to the maintenance building and cleared a micro fault on power supply.
