Portable Extinguishers and Sprinkler Inspection
Stopped to check on this customer and found that the fire extinguishers were due for service. I asked if they would like to get them done. They said yes please do that. I serviced the fire extinguishers and left them an invoice. I let them know that they should be inspected at least annually.
I scheduled this appointment a week ago and went to do the annual fire extinguisher inspections. I arrived and found that 1 needed a hydrotest and the rest just needed to be inspected. I did the work and told them I would send the invoice from the office.
Customer needed to get a hook up (installation) of a CaptiveAire system. This is an 8g system over the kitchen appliances. System will be ready for a semi-annual inspection (per code) in November 2025. Customer was informed and taught how to use the system if needed. I left a report of the trip test and also of the installation.
Customer needed to get an Alarm initiating switch installed. I stopped in to get this done for the customer. The customer now has a working alarm initiating switch installed.
Customer called for an appointment to get their fire extinguishers inspected and serviced. I said I could be there in an hour or so. I arrived and did the annual inspections (no maintenance needed). I left a card and let them know to get these done annually.
Annual fire extinguisher service was requested by the customer and so I stopped in and did this service for the customer. They have a single fire extinguisher on the property. Customer was very happy to get this work done.
Fire extinguisher service call, they had a couple of fire extinguishers that needed a 6 year maintenance and wanted to purchase a fire extinguisher. I was able to accommodate and the customer was very happy.
