Retested Horn/Strobes after FACP Replacement found additional issues and wrote up Deficiencies for new service provider.
Replaced NAC PNL B2-5 In Hallway by A216 Above Drop Ceiling (Existing Old Notifier FCPS-24 was in trouble on FACP / after further Trouble Shooting found That Out-put 1 was Fried and was not recognizing loop or end of line resistance) Tested Horn/Strobes and Reset. system. ***Trouble Cleared off FACP*** Upon Arrival FACP also stated Supervisory LCD 80 (This Trouble is due to the remote Annunciators being removed due to construction) Work Approved by Scott Ballard
Replaced RTU-2 Supply (On-Roof) Duct Smoke Detector that was water damaged Wired, Tested and Reset. ***All Systems Normal and Reset***
Arrived on site FACP Showing ***All Systems Normal***Checked FACP History (Panel Shows Pre-Action System Trbl) Went To Boiler Room and checked Pre-Action System History. (History Showed System Low Battery/No Battery) Batteries we’re Bulging and Required Replacement. ***Replaced 2-12 volt 7 ah Batteries and Reset Date and Time ***All Systems Normal and Reset ***

Arrived On-Site with Horn/Strobes Sounding in Early Child Care Center. FACP Not showing any Alarms, Fire Panel was Froze up and Required a Hard Re-boot. Located breaker panel and cold Started FACP. After Re-Boot Fire Panel stated Address Error for Smoke Detector L1IO40 South Corridor D131. Located Smoke Detector and Cleaned. Reset FACP and Re-Set Time and Date. Found out that there was a power outage in the area, (putting FACP into a brown out mode after losing and gaining power so many times it froze up the panel). load tested FACP Batteries (both batteries failed test only showing 2.0 ah a piece) FACP batteries require replacement. Panel is currently ***All Systems Normal and Reset ***
Arrived On-Site Met with school head custodian (Rhonda) Found System in Alarm Showing RTU-2 System was silenced but Un-Resettable. Went up on Roof to Unit RTU-2 by library (Duct Smoke is in metal enclosure) water was coming through the seals and shorted out the duct smoke. Dried out duct Detector Unit and Replaced Addressable Apollo Head. Siliconed seals and completely around metal box enclosure. Re-Connected wiring and Re-Sealed Duct Smoke housing and metal enclosure. Reset FACP ***All Systems Normal and Reset *** will quote for unit replacement.
Removed Relay Module from Fire Alarm System Per. Scott (Building Maintnance Head) L3M12 (Module is currently in invalid reply until pulsar Electronics comes out and Deletes point from system) ***System will remain in trouble until point is deleted***
School Lost Power Last Weekend Causing Main FACP Panel To go into a Brown Out Frozen State. FACP Batteries we’re drained and failed load testing. Replaced 2-12 volt 7 ah batteries and Re-Booted FACP. System functions Normally at this time ***All Systems Normal and Reset ***
