3/7/24 Customer called regarding a leaking PIV, please assess while on site. DH Sprinkler Repair The tech will remove and replace the outdated water gauges for two floor control valves. NFPA 25 (13.2.7.2) Gauges shall be replaced every 5 years Deficiency: The two floor control valves will need gauge change. 2- sprinkler gauges Deficiency: There are three post indicator valves that were hidden from view with a trash compactor one is leaking from where the tamper switch got knocked off. This appears to be an underground leak. This valve will have to be checked out completely and possibly rebuilt if the water will not stop leaking, the tamper switch will also have to be reinstalled or a new tamper switch installed. If the leak cannot be stopped, this valve will have to be dug up and replaced. 1- post indicator tamper switch. 2- men to take valve apart, and unseized the valve completely.
