System Normal Upon Arrival, Talked with On-Site Maintenance about what is happening and what the staff Response to Problem is. Informed Maintenance that it is extremely important that when an alarm occurs that the staff documents what’s in Alarm and calls for service when System can not be reset. Informed staff that there is a Fire Systems of Michigan phone number on an Inspection Tag on the Fire Panel that has a 24 Hour On-Call Emergency tech to Assist With after hours problems/emergencies.
Replaced Smoke Detector in Hall by Rm 308 Tested and Reset System ***All Systems Normal and Reset ***
Arrived On-Site FACP Stating Line 2 Auto Test Comm Error, Checked Phone lines for dial tone and proper line voltage, All checked out good. Cleared History Buffer, and Completed Panel Dialer Reset. Also Completed a Dialer Test, Signals Were Sent To Central Station and FACP was Cleared it’s auto test comm error. Also sent ActualFire alarm signal to Central Station. Checked signals with central station and Reset System***All Systems Normal and Reset ***
Kitchen Suppression Inspection
Trouble Shot System, Removed Quick Disconnect wiring clips and re-wired all panel wiring to mother board screw terminals. Checked batteries and programed opening and closing reports. And tested system. Could not Re-create any Actual Alarm Conditions. ***All Systems Normal and Reset ***
A Hall checksit was loose causing system not able to arm/Disarm Re-Tightened Checksit and Tested*** All Systems Normal and Reset ***
Trouble Shot System (System Reflected Horn South open ckt) after investigation found blown 3A 250 volt Glass fuse on simplex mother board. Replaced Fuse and Reset system. ***All systems Normal and Reset ***
