Notice of Non Compliance and Repair Proposal Fire Systems of Michigan recently inspected/serviced the fire sprinkler system at your establishment in accordance with NFPA guidelines. While inspecting/servicing your fire sprinkler system, it was determined to be "Non-Compliant". The attached proposal summarizes the non-compliance issues that were found during the inspection/service and the costs and actions needed to correct them. Fire Systems of Michigan strongly recommends that your sprinkler system is repaired so that it will become compliant. If obstruction is present, this can render the sprinkler system to not properly operate in the case of a fire. NFPA 25 (184.108.40.206) Inspection of the internal condition of piping shall be conducted at a minimum of every 5 years for the purpose of inspecting for the precedence of foreign organic and inorganic material. DH Sprinkler Inspection Annual Sprinkler Inspection Deficiency: Dry pendant sprinkler heads in freezer and cooler are more than 10 years old. Deficiency: The fire permit connection check valve is due for five year internal inspection. Deficiency: The fire sprinkler system is due for five year Hydro test of fire department connection. Deficiency: Fire sprinkler system is due for five-year internal obstruction investigation Deficiency: Fire sprinkler system is due for gauge change. Suggested: Private dancing area does not have protection below the ceiling it does have it above the drop ceiling we can offer the customer more than one solution to this by adding protection under the drop ceiling or removing the tile of the Drop ceiling.
