I just finished a quarterly sprinkler inspection for a client in Puyallup, WA. During the inspection, I found a corroded sprinkler head that needed replacement. I replaced the damaged head and ensured the rest of the system was functioning properly. I also checked the water pressure and tested the alarm system, confirming everything is now in good working order.
Performed an annual inspection of the sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm, backflow preventer, and fire extinguishers. Verified proper sprinkler head placement and water pressure, tested the standpipe system for functionality, and inspected the fire alarm panel for any faults. I conducted a backflow test to ensure no water contamination risk, and inspected each fire extinguisher for proper charge and condition. All systems passed inspection and are fully compliant with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards for fire safety equipment. Documentation has been updated for annual certification.
In Puyallup, WA, executed yearly maintenance on dry chemical and CO2 extinguishers facility-wide. Verified agent weight, inspected hose assemblies, and assessed discharge mechanisms. Ensured signage and mounting heights complied with Pierce County fire codes. Examined metal components for corrosion and seal integrity. Swapped out faulty pressure gauges and revised inventory documentation. Advised installation of supplementary units in identified high-risk zones within the Puyallup premises.
