Tested and verified 4th floor NAC circuits for proper operation. System is online and Normal
I recently tested a backflow prevention system to ensure it was functioning correctly. This included checking for any leaks, verifying proper valve operation, and ensuring no contaminants could enter the potable water supply. All components were inspected and tested for compliance with safety standards. Regular testing is essential for maintaining a safe water supply. Trust my expertise for reliable backflow prevention maintenance.
Implemented residential fire sprinkler system installation per NFPA 13D standards. Utilized quick-response, concealed pendent sprinklers with 4.9 K-factor for optimal water distribution. Designed system for 0.05 gpm/sq ft density over a 400 sq ft area. Installed 1-inch CPVC piping network, pressure tested at 200 PSI for 2 hours. Integrated system with 13D-compliant domestic water supply, eliminating need for dedicated pump. Installed inspector's test connection and main drain valve. Programmed water flow alarm to notify monitoring service. Provided homeowner with system documentation and maintenance instructions. Coordinated final inspection with local fire marshal for occupancy approval.
Conducted comprehensive annual fire safety inspection per NFPA 72, 25, and 10 guidelines. Tested fire alarm system, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification appliances. Verified correct operation of fire alarm control panel and remote annunciator. Inspected sprinkler system, checking for proper head orientation and obstruction clearance. Performed main drain test to assess water supply. Examined fire extinguishers for proper pressure, physical damage, and current certifications. Updated signage and emergency evacuation plans. Documented all findings in detailed report, including recommendations for system upgrades to meet current code requirements. Scheduled follow-up for minor deficiencies noted during inspection.
Replaced multiple horn strobes in various locations around the theater building and parking garage.
Performed annual testing of two backflow preventers. Conducted pressure differential tests to ensure proper operation and prevent water contamination. Inspected valves and seals for wear and damage. Cleaned and replaced any necessary components. Documented test results and confirmed compliance with local regulations. Updated maintenance records. Client reviewed and approved the completed tests.
System normal upon arrival. Attempted to check the history on the panel but it appeared that the log had been cleared. Customer stated NAC 1 trouble is what was showing on the panel. Checked for loose wires and battery voltage on FACP and all power supplies. Found batteries on floor 3 power supply to be old and voltage was low. Replaced (2) 12v 8ah batteries on the 3rd floor power supply. Told the customer to give us a call if the trouble comes back.
