The guy who actually did the cleaning did a fine job and was quick, respectful and thorough. My complaint was with the person who accompanied him to my office. He quoted a ridiculously high amount for the cleaning of a very small rug saying that he would have to take the rug out to clean it. I said no to the offer and as he was leaving he came up with a quote of half of the original charge which I also refused and finally we did come to a negotiated agreement. However, I still wonder if I was ripped off even at that price.

I based my decision to choose New York Carpet Cleaning based on Angie's List reviews. They proved right. I was able to get same day service with an andvance call when they were showing up within 15 minutes so I didn't have to take the entire afternoon off from work. Johnny was polite and professional, and I couldn't expect more from the cleaning.

I thought when I scheduled them that they would come clean. Instead they came for an estimate and took a run with them, then rescheduled to come back. It wasn't an emergency, so it was fine to reschedule. When they did clean, they were quick.
