Replaced heater package. System is operating normally at this time.
HVAC Service 2023 PCSA Heating Check Up free w. new install Heating Maintenance Heater Package has an occasional issue where it will short cycle 2 of the electric heaters. Will replace under warranty. System should run normally until replacement. Defrost mode is operating normally. Thermostat is operating normally. Replaced filter. Everything else was clean and checked out well. System is operating normally at this time.
Air Conditioning Maintenance PCSA 2023 AC Check Up Free w/ Install Completed cooling maintenance, checked system operations and found no issues, used extra filter from install to replace old one, made sure system is working properly System is cooling at this time
Inspected duct work in crawl space to see if it needed replaced. There are several locations where insulation and belly wrap are missing. Informed customer of the situation and told them replacing insulation and belly wrap in these locations would make a noticeable difference. Also checked AC and heat operation. System appears to be operating normally. Fourth heat strip is disconnected at this time. May need to connect fourth heater and turn up blower speed next winter.
Quote for install of 16 SEER York Heat pump
2022 Fall Check Up PCSA Prepaid Heater package had 5 heat strips in it. Wire burned up going to heater #5. Removed wire and shut down heater #5. Other 4 heaters are operating normally. TXV on outdoor coil appears to be malfunctioning and will need to be replaced if system isn't going to be replaced. Valve core on discharge line also will need to be replaced soon.
2022 Spring Check Up PCSA New System inspection. Replaced filters. Flushed drain line. Capacitor on blower motor was weak and heavily corroded. Capacitor on outdoor coil was getting very weak. Replaced both capacitors. Thermostat display was struggling to show correct temperatures. Replaced thermostat. Disconnect on outdoor coil was damaged at one point but is operating normally. Would recommend replacement during future check up. Everything else was clean and checked out well. System is operating normally at this time. Customer wanted to sign up for service plan.
