4th of July, heat index 107 and our air conditioning developed problems, called Charlie's to get on the list. Expected that they were probably covered up due to the heat. Was extremely surprised to get a call from Shawn saying he could be there in an hour. He found the problem quickly and had us back in the comfort zone. Have always had great service from Charlie's and this just reinforces that.

Furnace Repair HVAC Service Customer had concerns about burnt smell coming from furnace/vents, ran unit multiple times and did not smell anything out of the ordinary at this time. Checked gas fittings and found no leaks, checked electrical connections and found no issues. Asked customer to keep an eye on it and let us know if it happens again System is cooling at this time
System is cooling efficiently at this time, refrigerant charge is acceptable, filter is clean and outdoor condenser is free of debris.
Upon arrival blower motor would not run, found furnace control board bad and not activating blower motor, hot wired fan to run at all times so that AC can run while we wait for new board to get here. Ordered board and should be here soon, will need to return to replace board. 9/5/24: returned to replace control board, replaced board and verified system operation, also put some plastic to cover the control board to prevent any water from damaging board again. System is cooling at this time

2024 PCSA AC Check Up Renewal AC Maintenance
Upon arrival, the AC unit was non-operational. Diagnosed a dead outdoor capacitor and replaced it, then checked the overall system operation. Additionally, identified a faulty blower capacitor and replaced it. Conducted a thorough test of the entire system to ensure all components were functioning correctly. Confirmed that the system is now cooling efficiently and operating properly.
Completed an air conditioning installation. Set up a new high-efficiency AC unit, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting. Connected the refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ductwork. Charged the system with the correct refrigerant and calibrated the thermostat for optimal performance. Conducted a thorough system test to confirm efficient cooling and verified that all components are operating within manufacturer specifications. The new AC unit is now fully functional and ready to provide reliable cooling.
2024 PSCA AC Check Up Renewal AC Maintenance. System is cooling efficiently at this time, filters have been replaced outdoor condenser is clean, drain is flushed and all other checks are good.
Replaced indoor txv under parts and labor, pressurized to 300 psi, vacuum pulled to 494 microns. Topped off remaining charge with 1 lb of 410A
