Heat Pump Repair Return and replace reversing valve Conducted a leak search. No luck on isolating exact leak location, it does seem as though the leak is in the outdoor unit. Service valves are locked down and common port pressure continued to drop. Valves are still locked down, thermostat is set to emergency heat, disconnect is off, outdoor fan is disconnected for ease of leak search next trip out. We may have to dump the nitrogen and put some more 410A in and go back in with a detector to start. We will call to schedule 2/6/23 Steve returned, added 410a to nitrogen and leak searched outdoor unit, confirmed with detector and bubbles that the suction line accumulator is leaking underneath. Bubbled and leak detected rest of outdoor unit, all coil ends and copper connections, found no other leaks. Need to get an accumulator

Found that system is running an electric key, but due to age of system it is not keeping up as it should. However heat kit is heating functionally at this time.

PCSA 2022 Heating Check Up Renewal. Downstairs system is heating efficiently at this time, had a capacitor going week, replaced and verified operation of system. Downstairs system however was completely out of 410A. Conducted a leak search and found that there is a leak on the reversing valve. Customer would like to wait till January for quote, it is running in electric heat until then.

Crossover 12 inch flex was down, rehung but it’s heavily water logged. This will help but it needs to replaced. Customers want it replaced, will get materials and schedule it up. 11-30-22 Replaced flex and strapped up tightly.

2022 Fall Check Up PCSA New 10/11/22 Complaint no heat nothing coming on. Cause of the issue is gas has been turned off to the location until a repair on the outdoor grill supply line has been made. Customer will have the line repaired and then call us to come out and do heat check up. Cleaned outdoor coil in the meantime to help AC run more efficiently (1/2 labor) Indoor coil may need cleaned in the future. 10/31/22 Returned to perform heat check up. Inducer motor bearings are making a little noise and main limit has some water damage. If parts are under warranty, would recommend replacement. If not, customer will monitor for any changes in system operation. Everything else was clean and checked out well.

Complaint: No Heat - Short Cycling Blew bug out of pressure switch hose. Furnace fired twice in a row before leaving. Watched diaphragm make a little slow on switch, wiggled it a little with small screw driver to make sure it wasn’t caught. Seems to be performing well. Unit heating at this time

AC not cooling. Found that system had a bad capacitor, replaced and verified operation. Since this was second issue in a month I signed customer up for PCSA plan. Proceeded to do check up on system and ,ale sure we don’t have anymore issues. Filter is routinely changed by customer, coil is clean and temperature is coming down in house. System is running efficiently at this time. Thermostat resets itself randomly, might be malfunctioning. Customer is going to monitor
