Troubleshoot well light not working at front left tree, and determined that the par36 bulb appears to be defective. I removed the bulb and taped up the 2 leads. Need to return with warranty par36 replacement. 2/7: Replaced par36 as stated above, warranty. Retested good. Also replaced defective astronomical timer (photo), warranty.

Troubleshoot several lights not working, Found a total of 10 lights not working upon arrival: 8 front left foundation +2 front right foundation. After extensive troubleshooting, determined that a wire was bad running directly through front left birch tree (photo). I replaced a section of wire in front of the tree. Also found several corroded or broken wire connections and replaced approx 3-4 wire connections, front left path light by garage, and front left island walkway boulder area. Adjusted invoice lower to reflect actual work performed, and created another estimate for additional work needed. Determined that 3-4 uplights need to be replaced, and additional wire connections repaired. Customer not home upon completion today, spoke to on phone.

Troubleshoot 2 path lights not working at sidewalk. Right driveway path light was missing a bulb. I installed a new bulb and retested good. Left driveway path light was not getting any power to fixture. Dug it up and located wire connection. Could not pinpoint location of problem however replacing the lead wire to fixture fixed the problem. Retested good. Corrected time on timer. Timer settings set for sunset to sunrise. Discussed adding on to the system in front and back. 6.3 amps on 5 home runs, 300 watt transformer.

Troubleshoot 1 uplight for front tree not working. Tested voltage at fixture and got 2.0 volts only. Dug up wire lead and found a loose wire connection several feet away, likely caused by tree roots which were growing over the wire connections there. Wire could also have been pulled. Repaired wire connections and retested good. Existing bulb is not worn out. Tested output current at transformer: 7.0 Amps (~98 Watts). Customers not available—Approved over phone.

Upon arrival, found extensive damage to main pipe surrounding the backflow preventer underneath front portico. It appears that there is a ball valve before the pvb which was closed in order to do the winterization, and that the shut-off valve in the basement gym room ceiling tiles was never closed. The shutoff valve in basement ceiling tiles requires a ladder to reach it. The outside ball valve eventually froze and burst, which flooded under the portico and eventually into the basement gym. The flooding has warped the gym flooring. Customer reported that he was home during the winterization but did not meet or talk to the technician, so was likely not available for him. Customer is requesting or expecting that our insurance covers the gym floor damage, and also to replace the damaged pvc pipe under the portico. See all photos.
